Valuable vehicle reviews listed below.
For those familiar with the 2009 Toyota Corolla, the 2010 model will appear to be almost identical. For consumers there is some great news: the 2010 Corolla comes in at a lower price point with more features standard. For the 2010 Toyota Corolla Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) and traction control have been made standard. Also known as an antiskid system, stability control is designed to prevent sideways slides. Traction control aids grip away from stops and is useful on wet surfaces. These significant safety features had been standard only on the Corolla XRS and were a $250 option on the other models.
Although not a drastic change in design, many customers will benefit from the added safety features of the 2010 Toyota Corolla, and all will benefit from the great low starting price! For those that live in Wisconsin, the VSC is a welcome standard feature.

2009 Toyota Venza V6 Side View
With all of the different vehicles on the market today it is sometimes difficult to discern which vehicle will best suit your needs. While the number one selling, American built, Camry is great for a family sedan – and the Highlander is a great SUV, what about those that want something in between?
That is where the Toyota Venza comes into play. In a recent Motor Trend article put a head to head comparison of the 2009 Toyota Venza with the Ford Edge and the Nissan Murano. The overall verdict from Motor Trend editor Arthur St. Antoine: “Toyota simply can’t be beat by virtue of the three Ps – packaging, performance, and price.”
The Motor Trend article goes on to say the Toyota Venza is not only the least expensive of the group, but also the most fuel efficient (22 mpg EPA), the quickest, and the most commodious. The article ends deeming the Toyota Venza “winner. Winner of this test, and winner of our 2009 Sport/Utility of the … oh, darn it, strike that.”
As you can see – Motor Trend uses the Venza to set a standard in the crossover utility vehicles. Toyota will continue to innovate with new technology and new vehicles.
Here at Wilde Toyota we house a vast inventory and are ready to answer your questions and show you any of the Toyota vehicles! Stop in to Wilde Toyota and find out for yourself what Motor Trend sees in the 2009 Toyota Venza.

“I am looking to get a new car, but when is the best time to buy?” That is a pretty common question among car shoppers. Over the years there the average person has thought the end of the month, or even better yet – the end of the month at the end of the year! There may be some truth to that – for certain folks, but for others – and most people – that is no longer the case. You may find the answer surprising!
There are several types of car buyers out there, but for this particular topic we will focus on two: the emotional car buyer vs. the analytical. Neither of which being better than the other, they just have different priorities.
Since most people would argue that the end of the month is the best time to buy, or so they have heard, let’s start with that buyer. This person would typically fall into the category of the emotional buyer, though not always. The reason the end of the month is the best time for these buyers is because there are more reasons to buy now – the most typical being manufacturer incentives will be changing very soon. The challenge for this buyer, though, is the feeling of pressure – whether it is there or not. Just the fact that incentives are typically ending puts a bit of uncertainty in your mind – will the programs get worse? Better? Will I have missed a great opportunity? It can be pretty intense for these customers at times.
The second buyer, the analytical buyer, has a different outlook. Since emotions tend to be less of a factor these buyers will tend to buy when everything makes sense to them. A lot of time would typically be spent researching the vehicle they are looking for, whether online or stopping at dealerships a few times before they actually buy the car. Either way, there tends to be a bit more time involved. For these buyers they will typically buy a car once they have looked at several different options, and thought long and hard about the very question of “when” to buy the car. A lot of these folks would also tend to feel the end of the month is when the “best” deals are to be had. They have just put more research in beforehand.
Now to this point it would appear the “end of the month” is the answer. But is it? When someone goes to buy a car, are they looking for the fastest process just to get the end result? Or, would one prefer the most accurate process?
What is the difference?
Take a look at the restaurants, would you rather have a server that is fast – and in the process might make a few mistakes, or someone that takes their time to be sure everything is done with excellence? That is the difference. And in the dining industry you will typically find better and more accurate service during off peak times.
The same can be said for buying a new car. Except when you are buying a new car there are a lot more things to get right – especially the legal documents. There area also many things to learn about the new car.
All in all, the best time to buy a car is the “off peak” times, when your consultant can spend more time with you and getting the details perfect for you, than at the end of the month – when everyone is in a mad dash to buy their car.
Ultimately though, when you are at the dealership you have the best opportunity to get your best deal. Because statistically the odds of someone coming back are pretty slim. So the next time you go to buy a car, and you are at the dealership – there is no time like the present to buy.

As with everything in life, there are changes happen. With Toyota, this is no exception either. You can find a whole slew of information on new incentives from Toyota. However, navigating all of that information can sometimes be a challenge. A lot of folks out there steer clear of dealerships, when the easiest way – most times – to get the information they want, is to stop on in!
It seems at times the concern is that the staff are out to take advantage of our customers. In reality, taking advantage of our loyal customers (and new) is effectively burning bridges. The goal, at least for Wilde Toyota, is to serve our community and help people get into the new vehicle they’ve been wanting.
Unfortunately finding accurate information can sometimes be difficult. There is a new era of information, and that information can get very confusing for many people. The staff at our dealership is here first to be a consultant and trained to know the product. The first part though, is the most important. After all, who wants to buy a vehicle from someone they don’t trust!
It is the mission at Wilde Toyota to provide exceptional value to our clients, along with great service and the best selection of new vehicles or preowned vehicles! We would be happy to sit down for a consultation any time!
If you were to visit us for a consultation, there are a few things you should know:
- Shopping for and buying a car can be stressful, we understand that.
- Not everyone is ready to buy a car “today,” we understand that.
- Some people want their car now, we understand that – and are prepared for that.
- Our goal is to learn about your needs and find the right vehicle to fit those needs.
In order to best assist you during the consultation there are a few things we would go over:
- What the vehicle will be used for
- If you have specific options you are looking for
- What your goals are at the given point in time
- Addressing any vehicle specific questions
There are other things we would address, and typically people are already familiar with the first two points. A lot of times, though, there are not specific questions to the vehicle; nor are there clear goals. Not that either are “required,” we just want to best utilize your time around your needs.
We understand that buying a new vehicle brings up different feelings in different people. We hope that anyone that buys a vehicle from Wilde Toyota ends up leaving feeling great about their decision. If they don’t, then we have not done our job right, and ultimately we have failed our customers. That is not an option here. We look forward to making your next vehicle purchase the best automobile buying experience you have ever had!
