With all of the different vehicles on the market today it is sometimes difficult to discern which vehicle will best suit your needs. While the number one selling, American built, Camry is great for a family sedan – and the Highlander is a great SUV, what about those that want something in between?
That is where the Toyota Venza comes into play. In a recent Motor Trend article put a head to head comparison of the 2009 Toyota Venza with the Ford Edge and the Nissan Murano. The overall verdict from Motor Trend editor Arthur St. Antoine: “Toyota simply can’t be beat by virtue of the three Ps – packaging, performance, and price.”
The Motor Trend article goes on to say the Toyota Venza is not only the least expensive of the group, but also the most fuel efficient (22 mpg EPA), the quickest, and the most commodious. The article ends deeming the Toyota Venza “winner. Winner of this test, and winner of our 2009 Sport/Utility of the … oh, darn it, strike that.”
As you can see – Motor Trend uses the Venza to set a standard in the crossover utility vehicles. Toyota will continue to innovate with new technology and new vehicles.

Toyota Safety – Rear-seat Center Airbag
If having seven airbags in a car wasn’t enough already, Toyota is pushing the bar even further. Having now developed a rear-seat center airbag, Toyota is looking to give a whole new level of safety to the passengers in the rear.
The Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) will have the airbag appears to deploy from the upper center of the backrest (see image). The goal of the newly developed system is to reduce the injuries caused by side impact collision by putting a barrier between two passengers in the rear seat.
